Biographical sketch
James Mooney is currently a Senior Environmental Engineer in the Modeling and Analysis Section of the Water Quality Branch for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. He has been employed with the Department since 2010. He graduated in December 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering from Auburn University. His duties with ADEM include developing water quality models to address Waste Load Allocations (WLAs) for NPDES regulated point source discharges, Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) and Delisting Decision development, and finally developing water quality monitoring strategies for impaired waterbodies listed on the 303(d) List.
